Welcome to Vaughan Elementary School’s website. I am so excited that you have chosen to learn more about our school. My name is Renee Mizelle and I am the principal. Vaughan Elementary School is a small, Title I school in rural North Carolina. My staff and I are committed to excellence and our students make us continually proud as they learn and grow into productive citizens. We are very proud of all their accomplishments. As a team we will continue to make Vaughan Elementary School the best place to learn in our community.
At Vaughan Elementary we pride ourselves in the high expectations we hold for student performance, in the safe, clean and orderly learning environment we provide for our students, in having a highly qualified instructional staff, and wonderful parent, community and business support. Vaughan is a great place to learn and grow.

OWL is a free research Website that is available to North Carolina students, teachers, and parents that has several periodical databases and two online encyclopedias. It also includes Gale's DISCovering Authors. One of the highlights of NC WISE OWL is remote access. This allows parents and students to access from home all of the NCWISE OWL resources even the subscription databases, providing they have Internet access.
