Our Principal's Message
Greetings Dear Eagle Family,
Although Warren County High School is considered a traditional high school we offer very unique opportunities for our students. We have developed partnerships which provide students a wonderful opportunity to not only leave high school with a diploma, but also with meaningful skill sets that will make them career and college ready.
Warren County High School offers four academies: Engineering and Construction Technology, Medical Science and Emergency Services, Business/Finance/Entrepreneurship, and College Prep. By participating in one of the these academies, students can take college courses that they can receive college credit, easily transition from high school to college, and earn certifications/credentials leading to great career opportunities.
In addition to our academies, we have formed partnerships with Vance Granville Community College, East Carolina University, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to offer students great learning experiences while earning college credit. Our students have the opportunity to earn up to 15 semester hours of college credit which is transferable to institutions of higher learning.
We will continue to seek new partnerships and continue to develop existing partnerships that provide our students with learning experiences that will prepare them for life beyond high school. Warren County High School will not only produce high school graduates, we will also prepare students to live in a complex every changing society.
While Warren County high school has formed several wonderful partnerships, our #1 partnership is and will continue to be with the students, parents, and communities that we serve. We invite you to become a part of our school through active participation. With your support the Eagles will SOAR to new heights!!
