LETTER FROM THE INTERIM PRINCIPAL
It is with enthusiasm that we begin the 2020-2021 school year at Warren County Middle School differently than ever before; virtually! On behalf of the entire staff, we look forward to working with our students virtually, face to face, and/or the hybrid format. Please know that we are embarking upon this educational journey together and will be successful and productive.
Our mission and vision will drive our school. Our staff will use data to drive instruction.
This year, we will be embedding STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) and Google Education into all of our classes to support the instructional focus of the school. Our goal is to enhance teaching and learning and to provide dynamic learning experiences that you will never forget. As a result, it will improve our school’s performance grade. We encourage you to form a strong partnership with your child’s teachers and our entire school family.
This year, we will operate on a seven period instructional day for students. Every student will have the opportunity to have a Chromebook all day while at school and an intervention period at the beginning of the school day to provide remediation and/or enrichment. We are pleased to announce that Warren County Middle School students who scored well on various assessments and earned grades of A/B will have an opportunity to engage in high school courses for credit. We are extremely pleased to report that in 2020-2021, the high school courses; Math I, World History, and Spanish I (Year-long) will be offered.
The success of our school relies upon a strong partnership of mutual respect and support between the school and its families. We encourage you to commit to the success of your child’s education.
