Warren County Schools NC Farm Bureau Student-Athlete of the Month Award

Warren County High School is proud to announce a new partnership with the Warren County office of North Carolina Farm Bureau and Agent Doniphan Browder to recognize exceptional student-athletes through the Student-Athlete of the Month Award.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to celebrating students whose success extends beyond athletic competition. The award recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate character, teamwork, leadership, dedication, academic achievement, responsibility, and Eagle Excellence in the classroom and through athletics.

Warren County High School’s coaching staff is pleased to announce seniors Jeremiah Barnett and Samaiya Williams as the inaugural recipients. Each student received a certificate and trophy in recognition of the achievement.

Jeremiah Barnett

Barnett is a senior at Warren Early College High School and a member of the Warren County Eagles cross-country team.

Known for his outstanding character, teamwork, and academic success, Barnett embodies many of the qualities the award was created to recognize. His commitment to excellence extends beyond cross-country. He is also a member of the Eagles basketball team and Beta Club.

Through his involvement in athletics and school activities, Barnett demonstrates the importance of balancing academics, athletics, leadership, and personal character. His dedication to his teams and continued commitment to academic success make him an outstanding example of an Eagle student-athlete.

Barnett is the son of Jerry and Beverlie Barnett.

Samaiya Williams

Williams, a senior at Warren County High School, is the inaugural female recipient of the Student-Athlete of the Month Award.

She is being recognized for her outstanding dedication as a member of both the Eagles cheerleading squad and cross-country team. Participating in two sports during the same season requires exceptional commitment, organization, teamwork, and perseverance, qualities Williams consistently demonstrates.

In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Williams is known for her strong character, dependability, and academic success. Her leadership also extends throughout the school community. She previously served as a Freshman Orientation Leader, helping welcome and guide incoming students, and currently serves as a Senior Leader.

Williams is the daughter of Samuel and Natasha Williams.

Warren County High School extends its sincere appreciation to Browder and the Warren County office of North Carolina Farm Bureau for establishing this meaningful partnership. North Carolina Farm Bureau’s local agents are community-based professionals who build relationships and serve the communities in which they live and work.
