The Major Andrew Jackson Hundley Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4096 recently presented American flags to the students of Warren County High School, responding to a request from the school's principal for new classroom flags.
Cadets from the school's Space Force JROTC unit formally accepted the donation of flags and will ensure their proper placement in classrooms throughout the building.
Warren County High School Principal Dr. Lionel Kato stated, “I am very grateful to the members of VFW Post 4096 for their support of Warren County High School. The American flag is a symbol that represents so many of the values we hold dear and seek to instill in our young people on a daily basis. These flags will serve as a daily visual representation of those values.”
