Warren County Schools Difference Maker January 2026

At its first meeting of 2026, Warren County Schools officially launched the Difference Maker Award, a new recognition program designed to honor employees who demonstrate exceptional dedication, leadership, and commitment to student success.

The Difference Maker Award recognizes employees who consistently approach their work with purpose, determination, and accountability while maintaining a strong focus on teamwork. The recipients exemplify the belief that student success is a collective effort and lead by example through collaboration, open communication, and a supportive attitude toward colleagues.

Difference Makers are known for going above and beyond their regular responsibilities, often stepping in during challenging situations and taking ownership of the district’s shared goals. Their high-level performance and willingness to contribute help strengthen the educational environment, fostering a culture in which shared responsibility leads to shared success across the district and community.

Presented by Superintendent Dr. Carol Montague-Davis, HR Director, Dr. Keedra Whitaker, and Chief Operations Officer Dr. Dennis Carrington, Jr. they recognized Donald Mizelle, Torrey Brothers, and Vicki Iwasko, as the first recipients of the Difference Maker Award. Each was commended for their outstanding service and continued dedication to supporting students, staff, and district facilities.

School officials expressed their appreciation for the recipients’ contributions, noting that their commitment plays a vital role in helping Warren County Schools thrive.

The Difference Maker Award program will continue as an ongoing effort to celebrate employees who positively impact the district and exemplify excellence in education.
