Vaccination and testing deadlines for all staff

October 9, 2021 | First dose of COVID-19 vaccine You must receive at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by October 9, 2021, unless you have a medical or religious exemption.
October 11, 2021 | Required COVID-19 testing for staff not fully vaccinated If you are not yet fully vaccinated, you must be tested for COVID-19 at least once a week, starting no later than October 11. You are fully vaccinated two weeks after your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two weeks after your second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines.
October 15, 2021 | Submit proof of vaccination status or appointment to get vaccinated You must submit this form and include a copy of your vaccination card for proof of vaccination status. If you are not vaccinated, you may submit proof of an upcoming appointment to get the vaccine.
November 8, 2021 | Second dose of COVID-19 vaccine You must receive your second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by November 8, 2021, if using the two-shot Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines, unless you have a medical or religious exemption.

Submit proof of your vaccination status

You must submit proof of your vaccination status by Friday, October 15, 2021. The form allows you to upload a copy or picture of your vaccination card to submit it. If you are not vaccinated, you may submit proof of an upcoming appointment to get the vaccine. Once you have submitted proof of vaccination, you will receive a special gift from the district to show our appreciation.

Why get vaccinated

Children under the age of 12 are still not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, making them more vulnerable to the virus. We’ve always made student safety our top priority and this is no different. The best way to protect our students, co-workers, and ourselves is to get vaccinated.

Homecoming vaccination clinic rescheduled

The vaccination clinic that was scheduled for homecoming has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 21st from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Warren County High School. That is an early release day. Vaccines are available for anyone ages 12 and up. The vaccine is free and you don’t need an appointment. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is hosting the clinic.

Health experts say the best way to protect yourself, your family, our community, and our children is to get vaccinated if you’re eligible. COVID-19 vaccines are available for everyone ages 12 and older. We’ve heard your COVID-19 questions and concerns. We’re improving our website to give you more information and explanations about some of the most frequently asked questions. We’re also working to upgrade our COVID-19 data dashboard system so we can provide you with accurate, reliable, and timely information about COVID-19 cases and exposures at your school. The dashboard is not available while we’re working on it, but we’ll get it back up as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements.

Reminders

Voluntary WeCare COVID-19 testing is available weekly at your work site

All employees are encouraged to volunteer to be tested weekly at your work site. Testing is available every Monday at no cost to you. To be tested, you simply rub the inside of your cheek with a long cotton swab. Results are texted directly to you within 24-48 hours. This quick, easy, and painless process helps identify students and staff who may have COVID-19, but don’t know it because they don’t have any symptoms. Complete a consent form and bring a copy of your photo ID the first time you are tested.

Stay home if you’re not feeling well or have been exposed to COVID-19

Please check yourself every morning at home for any symptoms of illness and stay home if you aren’t feeling well. You must also stay home if you have been directly exposed to someone with COVID-19. Working together, we can prevent COVID-19 exposures at school and significantly reduce staff and student quarantines. Thank you for your cooperation to help keep everyone healthy and able to come to school!
