Loaves and Fishes

A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor. Proverbs 22:9

Mission  and  Goal:
The Mission of Loaves and Fishes Ministries shall be to become aware of and meet family, personal, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Our Goal is to meet those needs through joint efforts of Christian volunteers with referrals to other service agencies; and to give help in such a way to encourage self-respect, dignity, self
-reliance, and a desire to help others.

Funding & Support:
Did you know that all services at our Ministry is dependent on Volunteer & Financial Donations.
Our funding comes from individuals, businesses, congregations, community groups and grants. We are always looking for more congregations and community businesses or groups to help us keep Loaves & Fishes up and running! Please feel free to contact us at 252-527-1160 if you would like to financially support us or volunteer.

Food Drives:
Food Drives are another way you can help support us. Please contact us if your organization
would like to sponsor a Food Drive. A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor  (Proverbs 22:9).  We know with this virus not everyone can come into the building and help, but we want you toknow that we miss you soooooo much. We can not wait until we can all be back together again.

Thank You!

Thank you so much to all the Warren County Government Volunteers that are helping us here at Loaves & Fishes.

An Update from INSIDE the Pantry!

Our Drive-Up Service— So far we think all the clients are really enjoying the curbside Interviews. At first it was a little hard getting things to flow the way we needed it but now things are running very smoothly. On July 1, Mary, Denise, & Abby began using IPads to check everyone in. We now have the interview process completely electronic and it tallies all the numbers for us each day.  Boy has this made things faster on the Front Lines!

Friendly Reminder:

In order to receive a Monthly Box of Food or Tuesday Curbside Service from Loaves & Fishes, you must live in Warren County and show a Picture ID at the time of pick-up.

Volunteers to the Rescue!

There has been some food going out of this Pantry since all of this started in March. Some early
mornings and some late nights have been spent getting boxes ready and bagging fruit and veggies, So if you see Evelyn, Janet, Mary, Shirley, Freda, Milo, or Judy, let them know how much you appreciate all those boxes they are lugging.

Congratulations!

We are excited to announce that Janet Rudasill is our New Assistant Warehouse
Manger.  She is going to do great things here at Loaves & Fishes.

Big Food Truck Coming!

July 30, & August 27, 2020. We have a big inside food truck coming in!
Can you help us unload it?
