Masking optional

Our Board of Education voted Tuesday, March 22 to make face masks optional for students and staff on school property and school transportation, effective immediately. This decision was based on Warren County’s moderate COVID-19 transmission rate.

If your student is exposed to COVID-19, they will be required to wear a well-fitting mask at all times at school, including on school transportation and when outdoors, for 10 days after their most recent exposure to COVID-19. Please follow this required health precaution to help keep others from getting sick.

Middle school consolidation proposal

Our Board of Education is considering consolidating our middle schools into one centralized middle school. The plan would move all 6-8 grade students from Northside K-8 to Warren County Middle School, beginning with this upcoming school year. This would ensure all of our middle school students have access to the same classes and extracurricular activities, while also saving money for our district.

We want to hear from you! Please join us to learn about the proposal and provide your feedback.
