Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Warren County Middle School parking lot from 4:00 p.m. until
6:00 p.m. while supplies last.
Coach Henderson will conduct cheerleading tryouts from August 20, 2024, until
August 22, 2024, here at Warren County Middle School. Tryouts will be held in the gym from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on the dates noted. All student participants must have up-to-date physical fitness documentation from the doctor before trying out for the team. The summer feeding site at Vaughan Elementary will be closed Thursday. Families may pick up breakfast and lunch for all children 18 and under Thursday at Warren County Middle School.

Superintendent Sutton also presented his $65 million recommended budget to our School Board on April 23. There will be a public hearing on the budget Tuesday, May 14 at 6 p.m. at Warren County Middle School. You can also submit your feedback online!

The Warren County Title VI Indian Education Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 6 - 7 pm at the C.H. Richardson building. The hearing is open to the public. We want to inform you about an incident that occurred today at our school.
This afternoon, several students were involved in a fight inside a girls bathroom. Two staff members responded quickly to break up the altercation. There were no serious injuries reported from the incident and afterwards, we resumed our normal schedule for teaching and learning.
Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot provide any additional information about this specific incident or the people involved. But I do want you to know that school and district administrators are investigating the altercation to identify violations of school board policy and appropriate disciplinary action for everyone involved. In addition, law enforcement is investigating to determine possible criminal behavior and legal charges.
I want to assure that we will continue to take every measure to ensure the safety of our students and staff every day. Please know safety is always our top priority and we are committed to providing an environment focused on teaching, learning, and supporting our students. Please talk with your student about their role in helping maintain a positive school environment based on trust, respect, and integrity.

Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023 is an early release day. All schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Students will be served lunch at school. As a Wellness Wednesday, we encourage employees and students to spend the afternoon focusing on their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
