It was an incredibly close Attendance War for the month of September, but 8th Grade pulled ahead and claimed the victory! 🏆💜💛

WCMS SPANISH CLASS HONORS HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH!!
Mr. DeAvila's Spanish class is learning about Hispanic Heritage Month by immersing themselves in symbols and celebrations that honor the culture. Check out some of the projects on display!

WCMS ELA STUDENTS DESIGN BIONIC HANDS AND ENVISION THE FUTURE!!
Ms. Clanton's ELA classes accepted the challenge to read "The Brave Little Toaster" and design a bionic hand using traditional school supplies. They had to interpret the design specifics, measure the components, and test the prototype to ensure that it worked. The students then discussed what our world will look like as technology continues to advance. Kudos to Ms. Clanton for presenting a cross-curricular project!

Ms. McCune's Science class learned about the baking transformations that create bread. Students learned about measurements, mixing, chemical changes, physical changes, heat transfer, and fermentation with yeast. The students shared the delicious bread with staff members throughout the school. Great job, Warriors!
