Students across NC participated in a tornado drill March 4th at 9:30am



Today in Families, Families collaborated on positive and negative aspects of current friendships. “Parents” then led their families in discussions about appropriate and inappropriate teasing/playing within and outside of friendships.



This Wednesday, March 4th is the last day for term 4. Students, please make sure you are submitting any late assignments before Wednesday. Parent/Teacher conferences will be next Thursday, March 12th from 1:00-7:00. Please come out to meet with your child's teachers and pickup your child's report card.

Prom is right around the corner! Prom will take place on Saturday, April 4th and tickets are on sale now at $25 a piece from now until Monday, March 9th. Prom tickets will increase $10 each week leading up to prom. Juniors and Seniors make sure you do not delay in purchasing your tickets.

Attention Parents: There will be a 9th Grade High School Registration Meeting for parents on Tuesday, March 3rd 2020 The meeting will be held at Warren County Middle School at 6:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information on each of the Warren County’s High Schools and explain the process of selecting the high school that their students would like to attend as 9th graders.
Warren County School’s Central Office Staff, High School Principals and Counselors will be present to provide information and answer questions. This meeting is designed to help parents and students obtain as much information as possible and fully understand their options before making their high school selection.

Don't forget the Juniors take the ACT tomorrow, February 25th beginning at 8:00am. Please make sure your child arrives to school on time and brings a snack/bottle of water with them. Students have a 10 minute break between tests 2 and 3 and they are allowed to have a snack during this time.

Good evening family and community members, please come out and join us Thursday, February 27th, at 6:00 pm for our Black History Program. We are proud to announce that Senator Don Davis will be our speaker for the evening. Senator Davis is from Warren County, Snow Hill to be exact and we are so excited to welcome him to Warren New Tech. Please come out to support our students and hear a dynamite homegrown speaker, Senator Don Davis.

All juniors will take the ACT on Tuesday, February 25th. Testing will begin promptly at 8:00. Please make sure your child is at school on time and prepared to take the test. This is a very important test that colleges look at to determine acceptance criteria as well as many scholarship committees. Good luck Juniors!
