MB Weekly Announcements: *Thanks for a great first week *Welcome PreKindergarteners Tuesday & Wednesday. *Monday is Labor Day holiday *Title I Accountability Night is Thursday, September 8th at 6 pm *Boys & Girls Club starts this week. *School starts at 8 am. Tardy policy will be in effect. *School dismisses at 3:15. Transportation changes and dismissal will stop at 2:30.

Greetings Eagle Family! Tomorrow, August 29th is the day we welcome our K-5 Eagles back to the nest. The doors open for students at 7:35 with breakfast. School will start promptly at 8:00. We are looking forward to an exciting year full of students being empowered to be innovative. Let's have open communication between students, parents, and teachers. Thanks to all you attended Open House. Students received book bags from the district. Put students names on them. Student handbooks are on the district website. Review it with your child. Allow students to stay at school all day. School will be dismissed at 3:15. Again welcome back Mariam Boyd Eagles!

Warren County Campers! Don't forget Summer Bridge Camp begins Monday, July 11, 2022 for all registered campers. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided. Monday - Wednesdays from 8:00-2:00 pm and Thursdays from 8:00-1:00 pm. There is no camp on Fridays. Free COVID-19 Testing. Event location: Warren County Armory Civic Center 501 US Hwy 158 Business East Warrenton, NC 27589. Dates: June 6, 2022 from 9:00am-3:00pm. June 7, 2022 from 9:00am-3:00pm. June 8, 2022 from 9:00am-3:00pm. June 9, 2022 from 9:00am-3:00pm. June 10, 2022 CLOSED. Appointment Scheduling: • You do not need an appointment in order to get a Rapid Test (while supplies are available) • To schedule an appointment, visit lhi.care/covidtesting. • Call (877) 562-4850 if you do not have internet or are registering for a minor. • Walk-ins are welcomed for PCR tests. • Call 1-877-562-4828 if don’t get your results by text or email. QUALIFICATIONS: Anyone who meets the testing criteria can be tested at an OptumServe community testing site, including uninsured, underinsured, undocumented and homeless individuals. OptumServe will generate a unique identification number for individuals who do not have a driver’s license.

Kindergarten Celebration will be Monday at 10 AM. First and Second Grade Awards Program will be Monday at 1 PM. Third and Fourth Grade Awards Program will be Monday at 2 PM. Students received two tickets for these events to give to parents. Please make sure you get them from your child. Other family members can watch the programs live using the link that will be posted on our website Monday.

*No PreK Classes on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. *PreK Registration will be on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 to 4 pm. *EOG makeups will be tomorrow. Summer remediation and testing letters will also come home tomorrow. *Friday, PreK Celebration will be at 10 AM. This is also their last school day. *Monday, June 6th - Kindergarten Celebration at 10 AM and Grades 1 - 4 Awards Program at 1 pm. *Tuesday, June 7th - 5th Grade Celebration at 10 AM. *Due to rise in covid numbers, we are limiting 2 guests per student to our celebrations. Tickets will be provided. Others may watch the live stream of the events on our website. *Tuesday, June 7th is also the last official school day for students.
