Warren County H igh News

Warren County High School families,

I want to share information with you about a couple of incidents that happened on our campus today.

We had a couple of fights on campus today that resulted in student injuries. Our School Resource Officer (SRO) and staff members immediately stopped the altercations and provided assistance to the injured students.

First responders and local law enforcement also responded to the school to provide assistance.

Federal student privacy laws prohibit us from sharing specific information about students, but you can be assured that law enforcement is investigating any possible criminal actions. There will also be appropriate disciplinary action for the students involved, following our Student Code of Conduct.

Safety is our top priority and we are committed to providing an environment at Warren County High School and all of our schools focused on teaching, learning, and supporting our students. Working with local law enforcement, our staff will continue to take every measure to ensure the safety of our students every day.

Please talk with your student about their role in helping maintain a positive school environment based on trust, respect, and integrity. Warren County High School is a wonderful place to learn and grow. We must be proud of our school, respect our classmates, and find civil ways to work out disagreements. That’s a responsibility that falls not only on our staff, but also on our students. We must all work together to maintain a school environment we can all be proud of.

Thank you for your cooperation and your continued support of Warren County High School.

Sincerely,

Dr. Keesha Lewis
Principal
