What Middle and High School students should know about COVID-19 and Cyber Bullying

Good Evening Warren County Middle School Families:
This is Dr. Carrington with some important information for you and your child!
Please encourage your child to login to their classes daily. We are having a nice amount of students not logging into their classes and an increase for not logging on after lunch.
We had a successful first six weeks and will be celebrating our Principal's List and Honor Roll students next Thursday, October 29th from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. with a Drive-Thru ceremony at Warren County Middle School. If your student made Principal's List or Honor Roll to call the school at 252-257-3751 to confirm your attendance.
The First Benchmark test for the school year will be taking place on October 26 (ELA), October 27 (Math), October 28 (8th grade Science). The benchmarks will be taken at home. WCMS families please know that you will need to stop by the school this Thursday or Friday between 8:00 -4:00 p.m. to pick up a packet with your child's testing materials and access codes in them. Please know that your child will not be able to take the test without the packet.

These are the types of questions the Warren County Board of Education wants you to answer at their upcoming fall community forum. Join the Board of Education and other community partners as they meet virtually on October 27th at 6 pm to listen to parents, students, and other community members as they discuss what the community needs and wants to see from Warren County Schools moving forward. This forum is not about COVID-19 and pandemic-related concerns. Instead, it is about our vision for the future of Warren County Schools. Registration is required. Register at

What excites you about Warren County Schools? What’s missing? When a child graduates from Warren County, what characteristics are most valuable to their success? By the time they are 25, what will be true of Warren County graduates? Help the Board of Education understand what you want for students of Warren County. Please complete a community survey where your anonymous answers will help lead a discussion at the upcoming community forum on October 27, 2020, at 6 pm. Survey results will also help the Board of Education in its strategic planning.
