We’re inviting community members to make a meaningful difference by volunteering at our upcoming Reality of Money Fair on Wednesday, February 18, at Warren County Middle School (118 Campus Drive, Warrenton, NC).

The Reality of Money Fair is a free, hands-on financial education simulation presented by NC State Employees’ Credit Union. During this experience, students learn how everyday choices affect monthly budgets and lifestyles as they manage a salary, navigate expenses, and gain real-world insight into financial responsibility.

Volunteers play a key role in bringing this experience to life by guiding students through the simulation and sharing practical support along the way. Your time helps prepare our students with skills they’ll carry into adulthood.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please email ptaylor@warrenk12nc.org
or register at https://bit.ly/RealityofMoney21826
.
Your involvement can help shape brighter financial futures. Thank you for supporting our students and community!

Warren County Schools was honored to participate in the Annual C4EE Community Service Program honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. held last Friday at the Center for Energy Education in Roanoke Rapids.

Our Chief Operations Officer, Dr. Carrington, represented the district and delivered powerful remarks on the topic, “What does community service mean to me?” He shared meaningful reflections on service, leadership, and the responsibility we all have to uplift and support our communities.

This celebration was a reminder that Dr. King’s legacy lives on through action, service, and unity—values we strive to instill in our students and school community every day.

Warren County Schools - Closed for Students - Remote Workday for Staff - December 8, 2025

At Warren County Schools, we’re dedicated to supporting the whole child — academically, socially, and emotionally. That’s why we use CharacterStrong tools to help our students build strong relationships, healthy habits, and a positive sense of belonging.

As part of this commitment, we’ll be administering an anonymous student survey for grades 3–12 after winter break.

This survey helps us better understand how students feel about their school experience — their connection, engagement, and overall well-being.

Important Notes:
• The survey is completely anonymous.
• Participation is encouraged, but optional.
• Families may review the survey questions: 3rd-5th Grade | 6th-12th Grade
• If you prefer your student not to participate, an opt-out form is available here.

Your partnership helps us ensure every student feels seen, supported, and valued. If you have any questions, please reach out to your school counselor — we’re here for you and your child.
