📣Your Voice Matters, Warren County!
Warren County Schools is inviting students, parents, staff, and community members to review and provide feedback on our 2026–2027 School Calendar Drafts. 🔗 https://www.warrenk12nc.org/calendarsurvey
Our school calendar impacts families, planning, instruction, and our entire community — and we want to hear from you!
🗓️ Take a few minutes to review the draft options and complete the survey.
🕒 It only takes a moment, but your input makes a lasting difference.
This is your opportunity to help shape the upcoming school year. Let’s work together to build a calendar that supports our students, families, and staff.

Today, on Random Acts of Kindness Day, our Student Champion Council was honored by the generosity of Herman Alston of Heritage Cultural Farm.
He shared insight on agritourism, entrepreneurship, and Black History Month, including the story and motivation behind his on-site museum dedicated to preserving Black history and agricultural legacy.
And in true kindness fashion, he and his granddaughter also prepared cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fries, and salad for our students.
An inspiring conversation and a meaningful act of service.
Thank you, Mr. Alston, for pouring into our Student Champions.
We’re thrilled to announce Read Across Warren County Schools, a weeklong celebration honoring diverse readers and the transformative power of books, taking place March 2–6, 2026. 📚🎉
We’ll kick off the celebration on Monday, March 2, by welcoming government officials, business owners, and community members who would like to share their love of reading with our students by visiting a school and reading a favorite book aloud.
If you’re interested in participating, we would love to have you join us — please sign up! https://www.warrenk12nc.org/readacrosswcs

The Reality of Money Fair is a free, hands-on financial education simulation presented by NC State Employees’ Credit Union. During this experience, students learn how everyday choices affect monthly budgets and lifestyles as they manage a salary, navigate expenses, and gain real-world insight into financial responsibility.
Volunteers play a key role in bringing this experience to life by guiding students through the simulation and sharing practical support along the way. Your time helps prepare our students with skills they’ll carry into adulthood.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please email ptaylor@warrenk12nc.org
