What an amazing summer it's been for our fourth and fifth-grade students! From June 16th through July 10th, 2025, Warren County Schools hosted a three-week Summer Arts Enrichment program, thanks to vital grant funding sponsored by the GrassRoots Arts Council.
This special invitation-only camp focused on hands-on experiences in dance, music, and theater arts, giving students a safe and encouraging space to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and build confidence. The camp incorporated practical math instruction, connecting academic learning to real-world scenarios. Lastly, the camp embedded Social Emotional Learning activities to addressed the whole child to increase student positivity and self awareness.
The program's highlight was "Playground," a culminating performance where students beautifully integrated their learning from all sessions. We extend our deepest gratitude to our wonderful arts partners: Develle Pierce, Vanity Goode, and Dartrez Wright for their dedication to our students' artistic growth.
