Greetings Warren County School's Parents and Staff. Due to the impending threat of severe weather,we will reschedule the IEP Workshop scheduled for this evening at 6:00 pm. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Shana Brown, Exceptional Children's Program Director at 252-257-3184 Extension 1237. Thank you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your family. Have a safe afternoon and evening.
Attention all high school students, Warren County Schools is excited to bring you the 2019-2020 after school STEM Enrichment Activity Program. Are you interested in joining the high school FIRST Robotic Team, the Eagles of the Knight and compete against other high school students in the state? How about testing your ability to build and launch a rocket to a predetermined set distance while safely delivering your egg cargo to the ground without a single crack? Do you have what it takes to design and build a car powered only with the force of gravity and enter that vehicle in a competition? These are just some of the things that are planned for you.
If you are up for the challenge all you have to do is register by signing up at your school’s office or reception desk. Transportation will be provided for those students who need it and register in advance. We will meet twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in the SEMAA lab at WCHS.
There are no cost or registration fees to participate. So take advantage of this opportunity and come out and engage in the activities, and by all means let’s show the world what the students of Warren County can truly accomplish.
I am challenging all seniors to apply to at least one college. Let's see which high school has the highest participation. The winning school will be honored at the next Board meeting.
