We are proud to share that our school was awarded the opportunity—through Horace Mann—to send one educator to attend a professional development experience with the Disney Institute in Orlando, Florida! ✨

Mr. Moguel is representing WECHS and is currently enjoying this incredible learning experience!

The workshop, “A Heart for Service in Education,” focuses on service excellence—building meaningful connections, delivering purposeful moments, differentiating experiences, and effectively navigating service recovery. Led by a Disney facilitator, this experience also includes a field component where participants see these concepts in action, along with time to reflect on how to apply them within their own school communities.

We are excited for Mr. Moguel to bring back valuable insights that will continue to strengthen the experiences we provide for our scholars and families. 📚✨
