The Governor's School of North Carolina is a 5½-week summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students, integrating academic disciplines, the arts, and unique courses on each of two campuses.

Congratulations, Heidy Labra, for being chosen as a Class of 2024 NCSU Goodnight Scholar!
The Goodnight Scholars Program prepares North Carolina's top STEM talent to become transformational leaders at NC State University, in North Carolina, and in the world.
The 100 finalists were selected from a pool of 850 candidates from across North Carolina and represent 82 high schools, 48 counties, and six NC State academic colleges. Finalists were scored by an application review committee consisting of current and former NC State faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as industry representatives from SAS Institute and the Kenan Fellows Program. Each finalist demonstrated exceptional high school accomplishments including stellar academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community engagement, and inspiring goals for success in STEM and education.

Congratulations to Rory Richardson, Jr. on his 2nd college acceptance! He was accepted to East Carolina University!
