Congratulations to Mark Jones, Jr. on his 11th college acceptance! He was accepted to North Carolina State University.


Eighteen WECHS scholars were inducted into the Alpha Signa Chi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on Wednesday, March 15, at 10:00 AM, at the Vance-Granville Community College Civic Center.
Membership is by invitation only. Students must currently be enrolled in a regionally accredited institution offering an associate degree program, have completed at least 12 hours of coursework leading to an associate degree, and have a grade point average of 3.5.

Stephanie Green was awarded an Honorable Mention Award for her science and engineering project at the North Carolina Regional 3A Science and Engineering Fair. The competition took place this past Saturday at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh. Congratulations, Stephanie!
