Warren Early College High School is proud to announce that Khadijah T. Howze, Esq., a trailblazing member of our inaugural graduating class of 2013, will return home to serve as the 2025 Commencement Speaker!
From walking our halls as a student to now serving as Assistant District Attorney for Warren County, Ms. Howze’s journey is a powerful testament to perseverance, purpose, and the impact of community. A graduate of UNC Greensboro and Cooley Law School, she is licensed to practice law in both Washington, D.C. and North Carolina.
Her inspiring story—rooted in service, scholarship, and strength—reflects everything we hope for in our scholars.

Last Friday was a wild success as our scholars took a trip to the NC Zoo in Asheboro! For many, it was their very first visit—and the excitement was unforgettable! From spotting elephants to learning about wildlife conservation, our scholars explored, discovered, and had an amazing time connecting with nature.
