Today we honor Indigenous Peoples' Day. Local living history:
The name Haliwa-Saponi is derived from Halifax and Warren counties, which are the ancestral homelands of the Saponi People dating back to the early 18th Century. The Tribe consists of more than 4,060 Citizens.

Our senior scholars traveled to Durham, NC to participate in the Infinite Scholars Program.
The overall mission of the Infinite Scholars Program is to provide all students, especially low income and first generation high school students of diversity, with the access to the resources, guidance, and funding necessary to successfully further their education at accredited institutions of higher education.
