🎉 Today VGCC hosted its annual Welcome Back 2 VGCC Resource Fair on the Warren Campus! From 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, students, staff, and community members enjoyed delicious food, refreshing ice cream, free giveaways, and learned all about the amazing resources VGCC has to offer. 🍦📚✨ It was the perfect way to kick off a brand-new school year—full of excitement, connection, and opportunity! 💚💛 #VGCC #WelcomeBack #WarrenCampus #CollegeLife

🌎💡 Learning in Action! Mrs. Eaton’s Earth/Environmental Science scholars participated in a gallery walk showcasing their posters on the impact of plastics in the ocean. 🌊♻️ Scholars rotated around the room to view each poster, capture the main message, and provide thoughtful feedback to their peers. This engaging activity encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity while deepening their understanding of an important global issue. 👏 Great job, Mrs. Eaton and scholars — keep up the amazing work!

📣 Big News from WECHS! 📣

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Mr. Juan Moguel, Social Studies teacher, has been selected to serve on the National Constitution Center’s Teacher Advisory Council for 2025-2026! 🇺🇸📜

The Council is made up of educators from across the country who provide feedback on the Center’s educational programs, help shape curriculum, and promote constitutional literacy and civic understanding nationwide.

This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to Mr. Moguel’s passion for civic education and dedication to his students.

📚✨ Walkthroughs in Action! ✨📚 Today, Mrs. Judkins and Ms. Jordan had the privilege of doing classroom walkthroughs and got to see our scholars hard at work on a Classroom Constitution Game! 👏 Just like the framers of the U.S. Constitution, our scholars debated, compromised, and collaborated to create rules, rights, and responsibilities for their classroom. 🗳️🤝 It was inspiring to watch them think critically about freedom, responsibility, and fairness while practicing teamwork and leadership. So proud of the creativity and collaboration happening in our classrooms! 💡🙌
