What excites you about Warren County Schools? What’s missing? When a child graduates from Warren County, what characteristics are most valuable to their success? By the time they are 25, what will be true of Warren County graduates? Help the Board of Education understand what you want for students of Warren County. Please complete a community survey where your anonymous answers will help lead a discussion at the upcoming community forum on October 27, 2020, at 6 pm. Survey results will also help the Board of Education in its strategic planning. The Warren County Board of Education will hold their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room at WCMS and participants will be socially distanced and masks are mandatory. This room and the media center will be open and can accommodate 10 individuals each. This meeting will be streamed live on social media and a link will be available on the district website, warrenk12nc.org, under the Live Feed section and will also be posted on social media. If you would like to make public comments, a form will be available for attendees in the multipurpose room or individuals can click on the link below and complete the form by 3:00 pm on October 13, 2020. Did you know you can pre-register to vote if you are 16 or 17. Voter registration forms are available in your school’s office or at the Board of Elections on 309 N. Main St. You must be registered by Friday, October 9 in order to vote in the November election. If you are 18 on or before November 3, You can vote in this presidential election which is sure to go down in history! Register and Vote! It’s your voice, your choice.
