Ryezael Perry an 11th grade Engineering & Construction Academy student at WCHS expressed interest in NCTAP. He has completed his first step by visiting Superior Tooling located in Wake Forest, NC. Perry is looking forward to learning new skills through our partnership with NCTAP.
The Warren County School District is considering moving to one school calendar for all schools within the district beginning with the 2020-21 school year. Students in the Engineering and Construction Academy had an opportunity to meet with Michael Taylor and one of his apprentice from Buhler to inform them about career opportunities with the North Carolina Triangle Apprenticeship Program.
Food Lion partners with Warren County’s Career and Technical Education department to provide food during their test training. This was to promote Food Lion’s new catering service and to introduce new food choices.

WCHS National Honor Society students visited Magnolia Gardens Nursing Home on Nov. 26th to spread holiday cheer and Thanksgiving with residents. Students extended the NHS core value of service by playing bingo with residents and distributing toiletries bags. Kudos, WCHS NHS!
WCHS DECA members get a we-fie as they prepare to shoot a promotional video for the 2nd Annual Pop-up Holiday Biz-aar on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10am-2pm in the WCHS Gym.
