Provide instruction to high school students which will include different strategies to teach the subject of English language to students. Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments helping students learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their educational and social development. Bachelor’s degree or foreign educational equivalent in Education and 2 years of experience in teaching English at the secondary grade school level. We’re proud to announce that Payton Leah Terry, a 10th-grade student, was recognized by Congressman Donald G. Davis for her participation in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition.
On April 19, 2025, in Rocky Mount, NC, Payton received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives, acknowledging her artistic talent and dedication.

WCHS SPARK NC LAB FUN!! Denayshia Alexander demonstrates a music learning module using the Makey Makey invention kit platform featured in the SPARK NC Technology Lab. Our Lab Facilitator, Ms. Sasha Harrison, helps Eagles explore STEM concepts in a fun, engaging way and earn credentials based on their mastery.
